The Family Therapy Institute accepts private pay clients as well as those who are insured through TriCare, Blue Cross of California (HMO, PPO, and Blue Cross Healthy Families), Blue Shield, Mental HealthNet, Compsych EAP, and Corp Health. As approved TERM therapists, we are also approved to provide services to consumers involved with Child Welfare Services (CPS).

Consumers who are uninsured or who do not wish to use their insurance, and who cannot afford our customary fees can be seen under a sliding scale based on their income.

Since insurance plans vary widely, please check your coverage to determine whether you have a copay or need a physician's referral prior to scheduling your appointment. Copays are due at the time services are rendered unless otherwise arranged.

TriCare patients do not need pre-authorization and can schedule appointments directly. The Family Therapy Institute also accepts cash, checks and credit/debit cards (MC, VISA).
