Empoyee Assistance Programs require preauthorization for services. Contact your Human Resources manager for the number to call to establish EAP services. Some EAP programs like Magellan have a two-step process for authorization: first call them to initiate services. They will issue a preliminary case number (in the case of Magellan it will be a very long number beginning with the year). Then make an appointment with us. After setting your appointment, you must call your EAP back to confirm that you booked and appointment (Magellan will then convert the initial case number into a 6 or 7 digit alpha-numeric authorization number that we need for billing). If you have another EAP company, confirm their referral process to you on the phone when you first call. Back to top
