Online CEU's are now available

The California Board of Behavioral Sciences has now given approval for all continuing education units (CEU's) to be taken online. MFT's and LCSW's in California are required to take 36 CEU's each renewal period.
The Family Therapy Institute offers both in-person and online CEU's for mental health professionals. Please select the courses you need from the course catalog. You may pay for your online CEU's directly from your computer. Once the courses have been selected and paid, you may begin the course, take an online test, and print your CEU certificate right from your printer!

Certification in Brief-Strategic Therapy now available!

The Family Therapy Institute now offers a certification series in Brief-Strategic Therapy. Brief-Strategic Therapy is an advanced therapeutic model designed to produce rapid change in difficult situations. There are four levels of certification to bring the new Brief-Strategic therapist along from novice to expert. If you are in San Diego, certification is every other week for 2 hours. Each level is a 12 month module. For therapists not in San Diego, an altered schedule is offered to preserve all of the contact hours, while minimizing the number of trips to San Diego.
