Online CEU's
Need to renew your license? The California Board of Behavioral Sciences now allows you to take ALL of your continuing education units online. We offer all of the required CEU courses to get you renewed in no time. Simply log-in, select and pay for your courses through our secure server and you are ready to go.  Course material is presented in an easy-to-read downloadable format that delivers all of the pertinent information you will need to pass your test and get your CEU's. When you are ready, simply take your online test and print your certificate right from your own printer!  Why waste your precious time in some boring class when you can get what you need when you need it.

Intensives
Need something more challenging? Our one- and two-day Intensive trainings in Brief-Strategic Therapy provides you with an overview of powerful clinical techniques that have been proven to produce rapid change in the most difficult clinical situations. The Intensive is a perfect way to get a general overview of Brief-Strategic Therapy and to see how it is applied to clinical cases. Discover the art of the "Strategic Dialogue," an intervention-assessment to quickly ascertain the problem and begin solving it from the very first session.  See how motivating the client for change will produce rapid results with less resistance. Understand the perceptive-reactive system and how to avoid common mistakes in treatment by applying interventions that fit with the client's worldview.

Most Intensives are one day; the AAMFT Approved Supervisor Intensive is four days (two weekends). California CEU's for MFT's and LCSW's available. Space is limited, register today!

Certification Series in Brief-Strategic Therapy
Ready to get serious?  The four-level certification series in Brief-Strategic Therapy offers complete mastery of the most important theoretical and technical advancement of the century.

Brief-Strategic therapy is an advanced psychotherapeutic model that produces rapid and sustainable change in difficult to treat problems. The model was developed in Italy and has a proven track record of helping people quickly overcome such problems as eating disorders, anxiety, panic, phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, delusions, depression, oppositional-defiance, and disruptive behavior in children.

Each level is a small group training experience to teach the fundamental aspects of Brief-Strategic Therapy. Forty-eight hours of CEU's available at each level.

Want to get started with Level I?
You can begin Level I Certification simply by enrolling in any Intensive. Each Intensive title counts toward Level I.
Enrollment in advanced levels is restricted to graduates of
Level I. Please contact us for details.
Pay as you go, or pay in advance for Level I and receive a 10% discount.
50 Contact hours in the Intensives are required for Level I Certification.

Not in San Diego?  No problem, the Institute also offers a commuter option to save your valuable time by condensing the meetings into marathon sessions! Same curriculum, same total hours, but fewer trips to San Diego.

30 hour AAMFT Supervisor Course
Looking to become an AAMFT approved supervisor? The 30 hour required supervisor course will be offered twice in 2007.

The course will be held over two weekends. The Saturday meeting is 9-5 and the Sunday meeting is 9-4.
The cost of attendance is $350.
