The Family Therapy Institute Announces its Collaborative Agreement with Cloe Madanes to provide joint certification in Italian Brief Strategic Therapy and Strategic Family Therapy

San Diego, CA – March 7, 2007 – The Family Therapy Institute is pleased to provide a joint certification program with the Madanes Institute of La Jolla.

Certification will now cover advanced clinical training for therapists interested in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, panic/anxiety, child molestation, incest, obsessive-compulsive disorder, family problems, family violence, infidelity, depression, oppositional children, adolescent fire setting, and serious mental illness.


The Family Therapy Institute Becomes the North American Training Center for Italian Brief Strategic Therapy

San Diego, CA – November 7, 2006 – The Family Therapy Institute is pleased to be recognized by the Centro do Terapia Strategica in Arezzo Italy as the North American Training Center for the advanced Brief Strategic Therapy developed by Professor Giorgio Nardone and Professor Paul Watzlawick. This designation makes the Institute the sole English language provider of advanced training in this model in the western hemisphere.
